1 General Provisions
The cancellation and refund terms set out on this page apply to all yacht and boat rental bookings made through sideyachtrental.com with Teovento Travel Agency Turizm Ticaret LTD. ŞTİ. By completing your booking, you are deemed to have read and accepted the conditions stated here.
Our aim is both to inform our guests clearly and to safeguard the continuity of the service we provide. Please review these terms carefully before making a reservation.
2 Deposit and Advance Payment
For your booking to be confirmed, 20% of the total rental amount is collected as a deposit. This payment ensures that the yacht you have selected is reserved exclusively in your name for the date and time you specify.
Since the boats we work with are not allocated to other guests during the time slot reserved for you, this security amount is collected. In addition, advance payment is mandatory because, in the event of last-minute cancellations, our company may incur a certain payment obligation toward the yacht owner.
3 Customer-Initiated Cancellation
Booking cancellations are assessed according to the time remaining between the moment the cancellation request is made and the tour start time:

Cancellations made MORE than 48 hours before the tour start: Your deposit (20% of the total amount) is refunded in full.

Cancellations made WITHIN the LAST 48 HOURS before the tour start: The deposit is non-refundable. This rule applies because, within this period, our company incurs a payment obligation toward the yacht owner.

Good faith rule: If you have had to cancel within the last 24 hours and our company is able to find a new guest for the same date, your deposit will be refunded. We do our utmost to make this happen; however, this cannot be guaranteed.

4 No-Show
If you do not arrive at the boat at the booking time and have not provided any prior cancellation notice, no refund can be issued. In such cases, the tour is considered completed and no refund will be made on the amount paid.
5 Cancellation Due to Adverse Weather (Company-Initiated)
The safety of our guests is always our priority. If the captain and our company jointly decide that the tour cannot be safely carried out due to adverse weather conditions such as storms, high waves or strong winds, the following options are offered:

An alternative date is offered to you; if you find it suitable, your booking is transferred to the new date.

If the alternative date does not suit you, the full amount you paid (including the deposit) is refunded.
6 Force Majeure
In circumstances beyond our company's control that qualify as force majeure, such as earthquakes, epidemics, war, government decisions, port closure orders or national mourning, the tour may not be able to take place. In such cases, an alternative date is offered to you, or if this date is not suitable, the full amount you paid is refunded.
7 Service Changes
We reserve the right to make minor changes to the tour program, the routes followed or the boat allocation for operational or safety reasons. Such changes do not affect the essence of the tour or the quality of the service provided; you will be informed in advance as soon as possible.
8 Late Arrival and Meeting Point
For the tour to start on time, you must be present at the designated meeting point at least 15 minutes before the departure time. No refund can be made if the tour is shortened or cannot take place due to delays caused by the guest.
9 Limitation of Liability
All our operations are carried out under a TÜRSAB-licensed agency (No: 12451) and are conducted under insurance coverage. We carefully take the necessary measures for the safety of our guests.
Our guests are responsible for protecting their personal belongings, valuables and electronic devices. In addition, our company cannot be held liable for accidents that may occur as a result of failure to comply with safety warnings given by the captain or crew.
10 Insurance

11 Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Guest satisfaction is our priority. We kindly ask that you first report any complaint or dispute regarding our service to us by phone; in this way, we strive to resolve issues as quickly as possible. For disputes that cannot be resolved by phone, the right to apply to the TÜRSAB arbitration board is reserved.
